Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. 


 

Please note if you are booking on behalf of others/group it is your responsibility to inform all yours of your party of the following terms and conditions

 

 

Please do not use the sauna if you:

 

  • Suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder

  • Suffer from epilepsy or diabetes

  • Are pregnant

  • Are prone to dizziness or fainting

  • If you've had a heart attack or stroke

  • You have asthma or breathing conditions

  • If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs, or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.

 

Please also follow sauna rules and etiquette when using Cosy Cask Sauna.

 

This includes:

 

  • All persons using the sauna must be over the age of 16 and do so at their own risk.

  • Listening to your body. Leave the sauna if you do not feel well.

  • Drink water regularly.

  • There are steps to the sauna-enter and exit the sauna with care.

  • Rinsing your feet before entering the sauna (rinse basin provided).

  • A maximum of 8 people is permitted in the sauna at any one time.

  • Removing footwear including flipflops/wetsuit boots when entering the sauna.

  • The exit must be clear to allow users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

  • Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna as it can cause burning.

  • You must sit on a clean towel-this will not be provided by Cosy Cask.

  • Sauna sessions should be no longer than 15 minutes at a time. Take a break outside to cool down every 15 minutes.

  • The stove should not be touched by users at any point when using the sauna.

  • Alcohol, nudity, and smoking are not permitted in the sauna.

  • Cosy Cask takes no responsibility for the damage or loss of property whilst using the sauna.

  • All persons using a body of water as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle exposure to cold temperatures, tides, rip currents, and other dangers of a body of water.

 

Cosy Cask Sauna Ltd reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be given in this instance.

Cancellation Policy

​Cancellations within 72 hours prior of your appointment will result in the full booking fee being charged. 
Cancellations occurring between 3-6 days of your appointment will result in a 50% fee and a £3 administration fee.
Cancellations occurring 7 days prior to your appointment will result in a full refund, however a £3 administration fee will be applied.
